FAQs by charge point operators

How can EV drivers pay for their charging sessions using vaylens?

vaylens gives EV drivers access to a variety of payment methods: payment via QR code, payment with debit and credit cards, payment using a charge card (provided by an MSP), or payment via invoices using our Community Charging feature.

How can I use vaylens to bill EV drivers for their charging transactions?

Because we already contract all CPOs and MSPs within our network, all you need to do is set up the tariff on your charging points via your vaylens account. From there on, we collect the money and transfer it to your preferred bank account.

How does vaylens Community Charging work?

vaylens makes it easy to share your workplace charging stations with specific groups of drivers on customised tariffs. Tariffs are easily manageable in the vaylens platform, and we manage billing, so there's one less thing to worry about.

Is vaylens Community Charging secure?

Yes, we use advanced security systems to protect your data and payments. Every charge and transaction is tracked, and support is available 24/7 for any issues.

How does the vaylensPay Payment Terminal work and what options are available?

The vaylensPay Payment Terminal is based on the robust PAX IM30 device and accepts Mastercard, Visa, V Pay, girocard, Apple Pay and Google Pay. You can install it directly in supported stations (€700 per terminal) or use a standalone terminal with casing from our partner Mevolt (€1,450, with optional CO₂-neutral foundation at €345). One terminal can handle multiple charging stations via the cloud. If your business already has its own PSP, integration may be possible when technical requirements are met.
