vaylens at Power2Drive 2025: Better utilisation of charging infrastructure through intelligent software
Dortmund, May 5, 2025 – No dependencies, no compromises: at this year's Power2Drive Europe, vaylens, leading provider of software solutions for charging electric vehicles, will be demonstrating what really matters in EV charging infrastructure for charging point operators (CPOs) and why an open, modular system is so important for ensuring a return on investment in the long term. The software expert, which is part of the KOSTAL Group, will be exhibiting together with Compleo Charging Solutions and the CPO and e-mobility company ChargeOne at stand B6.110 in Munich from May 7 to 9, 2025.
“Specialisation instead of "one-size-fits-all" is how you could sum up our trade fair motto this year,” reports Dr. Bjoern Dietrich, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of vaylens. The three companies vaylens, Compleo and ChargeOne are experts in their respective subdomains: While Compleo has made a name for itself as a leading provider of charging hardware for electric vehicles in Europe, vaylens is an international expert in the field of software solutions for charging and energy infrastructure. ChargeOne, a brand of Munich-based Claus Heinemann Elektroanlagen GmbH, completes the trio of partners with expertise in the planning, installation and operation of charging infrastructure. As a certified e-mobility specialist, ChargeOne offers customised charging solutions, including flexible rental models and comprehensive service from consulting to billing.
vaylens, Compleo and ChargeOne complement each other perfectly with their complementary roles in order to provide customers with comprehensive support: Software and backend, hardware and development as well as planning and support. The focus is always on practical specialization. "We stand for measurable and practical benefits instead of empty buzzwords. Our cooperation shows how different players can work together successfully and on an equal footing — not just in theory, but in practice at the customer's premises," explains Dietrich.
“No-lock-in” approach improves innovation capability
In a rapidly developing market, vaylens relies on an open ecosystem. This minimises dependencies on individual providers and systems, known as lock-ins, and instead allows the best solution to be integrated for each component: “This creates a resilient charging infrastructure that remains stable, flexible and future-proof in the long term.” A no-lock-in approach like vaylens scores points with open interfaces, modular systems and compatibility with third-party providers. This creates freedom of choice, the ability to innovate and minimises risk.
The partners vaylens and ChargeOne combine technological innovation with practical implementation expertise. Intelligent platform technology from vaylens and ChargeOne's electrical engineering expertise ensure seamless processes: from location analysis to installation and operation of the charging infrastructure. vaylens complements this with data-driven control and a smart operator platform.
Scalable fleet solutions
Scalable fleet solutions for companies of all sizes will also be the focus of vaylens' trade fair presence. The provider is thus addressing the ongoing change in fleet management: electric mobility is becoming relevant for more and more people and areas of application and no longer only appeals to pioneers or technology enthusiasts, but to the broad masses of the population. As part of this development, semi-public charging is also becoming increasingly important, i.e. charging electric vehicles at company locations, in company parking lots or in workshops. Here, vaylens provides individualised software and billing solutions that flexibly meet the new requirements.
