vaylens simplifies EV charging for fleet operators

vaylens' new software solutions help fleet operators streamline their charging infrastructure – simplifying charging and payments across multiple locations

Dortmund: October 3, 2024 -vaylens, the charging management software brand recently launched by the KOSTAL Group, is simplifying how fleet operators manage and monetise EV charging with the launch of its latest suite of solutions. Designed specifically for the unique needs of the fleet sector, they will help fleet operators who have transitioned all or part of their fleets to electric vehicles, facilitate the charging of their vehicles.

By centralising control of charging and payments, vaylens is empowering fleet operators to optimise costs, ensure compliance with regional requirements, and deliver a seamless future-proof charging experience. The full suite will include:

- Fleet Charging – vaylens' dedicated fleet charging module, streamlines fleet operation costs by providing operators with complete visibility into all charging session data - whether on-site, at home or on the road. It also automates home charging reimbursements and ensures efficient reporting to cut the time spent processing mileage expenses.

- vaylensPay - Its cost-effective and regulation-ready card payment terminal reduces infrastructure costs by serving multiple charging stations from a single terminal. vaylensPay simplifies operations and provides an enhanced user experience from within the vaylens platform.

- Community Charging – This allows fleet operators to manage all charging stations while specifying preferential tariffs for office employees and visitors. From contracts to billing, everything is handled automatically.

Each solution can be deployed individually or as part of a fully integrated charging infrastructure solution.

Russell Olive, UK Director, vaylens said: “'Range anxiety', the complexity of charging tariffs, and the inability to report and measure EV usage, is a big issue in the fleet industry. It is holding the industry back from transitioning to a fully electric fleet. But this doesn’t need to be this way. Our new solutions help make the transition seamless, taking the burden of technology away from fleet operators, so they can focus on what they do best - running their businesses.”

vaylens launched in 2024 and is the new name of the Compleo Charging Software division within the KOSTAL Group. Its division operates with 99.9% uptime, covering over 700,000 charging sessions – which are managed monthly, vaylens offers reliability and ease of integration, making it simple for fleet operators of all sizes to adopt electric mobility.

vaylens is exhibiting at the Fleet & Mobility Live Conference on 8 and 9 October at the NEC, Birmingham. It will be showcasing its new fleet solutions on stand C2.
